Who We Are
Once upon a time, there was a passionate man named Jeff that was tired of his lifestyle. Albeit as good as it was, Jeff decided after many years of playing in the dirt, first as a landscape foreman, then a road builder & finally as an oilfield soil consultant, that life could be better if he wasn't always sleeping in hotels, eating in restaurants and traveling all hours of the day to perform his work duties.
Jeff decided it was time to settle into a lifestyle that was creative, captured his passion, and kept a little dirt under his fingernails. For that is what Jeff loves, being outdoors involved with nature's surroundings, and bringing large smiles to customers' faces. Jeff found his new lifestyle in 2002 when he introduced Blue Planet Water Features to Edmonton and its surrounding areas.
At this time Blue Planet partnered with Aquascape for several reasons. As a future customer, the importance of understanding the relevance of being certified by Aquascape should not be understated and requires your understanding when choosing a contractor.

How it started
Our Story
We began installing ponds, pondless waterfalls, rainwater harvesting systems, fountains, bubbling boulders, streams, and waterfalls through the education and products provided by Aquascape Inc. After over 2 decades, Blue Planet Water Features has continued that success of bringing smiles to the faces of customers and providing them the Aquascape Lifestyle.
Master Certified Aquascape Contractors are the most qualified and informed installers in the pond construction industry. All CACs are required to attend continual training and education seminars to maintain a proven record of outstanding work, dedicated service, and support. Blue Planet Water Features has access to the experience, advice, creativity, and stories of other Certified Aquascape Contractors across North America, Australia, England, and other countries that aid us as we continuously work to better our skills.
Aquascape Inc. products are used in all of Blue Planet’s installations, ensuring warranty-protected, top quality, easily maintained products for a problem-free water feature that can be enjoyed for many years.
